Welcome to my world, the world of a would be writer, starting out on a journey of discovery, searching to find some deeply hidden talent for this ancient art of writing.
After years of neglect my writing skills are, to say the least, rusty but I am taking the first steps to rectify this problem. Having started a course with the Writers Bureau I find that I have no real interest in writing non-fiction which makes up well over half of the course.
Undaunted, I have recently completed a Begin Writing Fiction (A174) course with the Open University and received results far above my expectations. This success has given me the confidence to enrol for the Creative Writing course (A215) starting in September.
This is the situation that you find me in at the moment as I start this blog. Here I will record my journey, mainly in an attempt to keep me writing, but if it is of any help to other would be writers, who may be sharing the same problems and hopefully successes, that would be an added bonus.
